About me
I am Paolo Sussone
and I am a luthier.
I have studied and I trained myself on the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan, by the knowledge and wise hands of Master Mario Rubio, who shared with me passion for woodmaking and the secrets for guitars making.
Over the years, I had a range of productions, now specialized into Acoustic Steel Strings and Classical Guitars.
I constantly follow refresher courses and workshops with the most important Master Luthier around the World, such as John Monteleone, Jean Larrivee, Linda Manzer, Geroge Lowden, Brian Galloup, Roy McAlister.
In a very short time my manufactury turns into specific production with two different branches, in order to satisfy fingerpicking guitarists and authors’s needs, by making dedicated instruments required by modern musicians.
I made custom guitars for Jack Savoretti, Brunori Sas, Marcus Eaton, Giua, Erica Mou and many more artists.
My musical instruments have been appreciated by Ben Harper, Tommy Emmanuel, David Crosby, Andy McKee, Beppe Gambetta, Zibba, Dente, Motta…
All at once, I have been in charge for live music events as far as the organization for The Acoustic Guitar Project and Genoa Songwriters Festival, in order to elevate international unplugged music, with a spotlight over talented young artist in Italy and overseas.
